CrossFit Full Strength is the premier CrossFit in Central Phoenix. We are a one stop shop for any level looking to get involved in the CrossFit Community. Here is what Cooper, Crossfit Kid of the Month, had to say:
What is your favorite Crossfit exercise?
If I had to choose one I would say the snatch lift—because it’s fun to lift the bar from the ground all the way over your head or the kettle bells because you can get a rhythm with your swing.
What made you want to start Crossfit?
I needed a break from team sports, but wanted to continue doing something athletic.
How do you like your coach?
I love Gayle—she is always encouraging us to do better and always points out how we can improve our skills—plus I’m taller than she is—so that’s fun!
Why is being healthy and active good for you?
Everybody needs exercise to stay healthy—it keeps your body strong so you can grow and be strong.
What would you say to someone that wanted to join Crossfit?
It’s really fun and challenging –you are always learning new skills so it’s never boring. It is great training for other sports you play or if you just want something different. It’s all about challenging yourself to improve, but you get to do it with your friends!
When you are not at Crossfit, what do you like to do?
I like to take my Mom’s spin class on the weekends and I enjoy reading and collecting Pokemon cards when I’m not playing with my cats!
