Monte Vista Elementary

In honor of National Peace Day, a number of our schools participated in Pinwheels for Peace. Pinwheels for Peace is a collaborative worldwide project where students create a pinwheel that represents their thoughts and feelings about peace, anti-bullying and non-violence using words and images. The pinwheels are then used in an art installation designed to inspire public reflection on peace.

Meet The fifth Grade Papago Elementary School Robotic Team

Mrs. Hartell’s fifth Grade robotics team is competing in the Dash Robot Challenge starting September 19. Two teams of five will be competing using coding and the Dash and Dot robots to complete three challenges over a three month period.
