Q. Tell us about your involvement in Vision Gallery Kidz? What is this program? How are you involved? Etc.
A. The Vision Gallery Kidz program offers free art classes that are taught by different artists. Over the years, I have learned about different cultures and how to do many different types and styles of art including making a drum using rawhide, Native American bead work, African clay pots, batik, and painting. I have been going to these classes six or seven times per year since I was seven years old.
Q. Tell us about your involvement with therapy dogs?
A. One of my Mom’s friend’s works at All Four Paws Training LLC. I help out by trying to distract the dogs while they were being trained, so they would learn to focus on only the trainer. I also got to help by teaching them to sit and going out in public with the dog owners.
Q. You are new to Primavera, how do you like it so far?
A. I like Primavera because of the teachers and the kids. They are helpful and the school isn’t too crowded.
Q. What are some of the things you do for fun?
A. I like to play with make up putting on different “faces,” drawing, listening to music and watching T.V.
Q. What do you aspire to be when you grow up?
A. I think I would like to work with animals or children.
Victoria is an eighth grader at Primavera Online High School.
