Taylor Enjoys Coding Program at West-MEC

West-MEC breaks the typical mold of education. We are taught skills and receive industry certifications that will enable us to enter the work force as soon as we exit high school. Working with business anchors here at the Coding program provides us with opportunities to get feedback from real professionals on our projects. As future coders, we are taught not only how to code but also valuable employability skills. Industry standard software and collaboration programs are integrated into our routine and allow us to work in a real world setting. Leadership skills and opportunities are given to us every day as we take control of our own education.

Before being accepted into West-MEC, I had never felt this prepared and confident about my future.”

Taylor Elise Spiller is a junior at West-MEC.
