Q. You play volleyball and basketball. How long have you been playing? What position do you play? What is your favorite thing about playing these two sports?
A. I played sports more just for fun. But it was a fun and great experience. I like to be active and I am also very competitive. So it was always serious and fun. Volleyball was fun to play because it was a lot of running and making the ball over the net which was fun. Basketball would be my all-time favorite sport. I like playing it and also watching it.
Q. You are interested in helping animals and photography. Tell us about that?
A. I absolutely love photography and all the different pictures people take. I take pictures of my family, the scenery, and just about anything that catches my eye. It would be something I would love to do as a profession.
As a child I always loved animals. I own a poodle mix and Chihuahua and I love them as if they were my siblings. If I see one hurt I always do my best to help. If I could do one thing for the rest of my life I would be a veterinarian. To help animals in need and do what I can to save them. My favorite animal would be a dog. They are the best animals in my opinion.
Q. How long have you attended Starshine? What do you like most about your school? What is your favorite subject to learn?
A. I have attended Starshine for all four years of high school. Throughout my time here I’ve seen nothing but great changes. The school has changed so much only for the better. The staff and students are great. It has been a great experience and journey since my very first day of school. There is a bright future for this school and I hope the school and I move on to better things. What I like most about my school are the people. Everyone is so nice and respectful, especially the staff, they are kind and helpful with anything you need. My favorite subject to learn in school is earth science. The things we learn are interesting and teach you a lot.
Q. What do you want to be when you grow up?
A. When I grow up I would like to be a veterinarian. I love animals, so what better job! I would rather work with something I love then to do something I don’t like. I would do anything in my power to help animals, so I would love to work with them. Another job would be a photographer. I love taking pictures of everything. So those would be my two things I’d want to do in the future.
Q. What is one awesome thing you did this summer?A.. I spent time with my family and got closer to them and had an amazing time with them. Any time I’m with my family is amazing. I also got to stay in and relax when I wasn’t working. It was a great summer!
