St. Thomas Aquinas Third Graders Get Poems Published

Seventeen of the third graders at St. Thomas Aquinas Grade School were chosen to have their poems published in the 2016 Fall edition of Creative Communication’s A Celebration of Young Writers. The students wrote original haiku poems as a class assignment in the fall and many chose to enter them in the contest. The results were just announced in late January and the books are set to be published in April. The students are now in the process of writing cinquain poems to be entered in the upcoming contest on April 1. For over 20 years, Creative Communication has helped to inspire, encourage, and motivate student writers and is devoted to the promotion and appreciation of student writing.
