Sofia Talks Her Love of Irish Dancing

Sofia is a competitive Irish Dancer with the Michael Patrick Gallagher School of Irish Dance. She has competed all over the United States and has won many awards!

Q. How did you get interested in Irish Dance?

A. I started Irish Dancing at SSJ in first grade and then moved to the Michael Patrick Gallagher School of Irish Dance in second grade to start competing. 

Q. What do you like the most about Irish Dancing?

A. I think it’s really fun! It’s good exercise and I enjoy learning all the new steps!

Q. What are some other things you like to do when you’re not dancing?

A. I like swimming, acting, and singing!

Sofia Graves is a third grader at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic School.
