Saint Theresa Little Flower Catholic Preschool

There is an air of excitement in the classrooms as Saint Theresa Little Flower Catholic Preschool as children press their faces to the green fence to see new construction taking place right on their school grounds!  Teachers, Mrs. Pineda, Mrs. Zduniak and Mrs. Chlarson listened to what the children said:

  • What is it going to be?
  • How long will it take to build it?
  • Who is going to build it?
  • What will I be able to do in the new building?
  • Where do people get the stuff to build it?
  • How big will it be?
  • Do you have to be strong to build a building?
  • What kinds of machines will they use?

Yes, we are on our way!   The construction crew is here and working away on our new 10,000 sq. ft. early childhood building and renovated playground to be completed by July 2014.  This building is the result of many prayers and much needed financial support from so many parishioners and school families.  We thank everyone who has contributed in any way to this project.

The children’s natural curiosity and interest in the new construction has guided the teachers to add enriching activities based on their observations as the new building goes up.  Our perfect weather for outdoor play lends to the children’s activities with their own sized construction equipment, wet sand and digging toys. In their indoor play using wood blocks, cardboard and other items found in their recycling bin they can recreate what they think the new building will look like when it is finished. We can’t wait to show you our new place.
