RSPS Sixth Graders get ‘Stressed’ for eCybermission Science Fair

Rancho Solano sixth grade students Keira Ryan, Nicole Farmer, Michael Demetriades, and Stanley Hrncir are concerned about stress levels in the workplace and decided they needed to find a solution. Together, they researched methods to discover the most effective way to reduce stress, which prevents illnesses caused by long-term worry and anxiety. They performed several experiments, testing multiple people with various stress relieving activities, and their research revealed that the diaphragmatic breathing exercise was the most effective. They submitted their experiments and findings to the eCybermission Science Fair Contest and look forward to the winners being announced this spring!
