Roman Talks about his Love for Learning Spanish and ISA

Roman has quickly acclimated to a new language and uses Spanish words outside of the classroom. Roman started this year in the Spanish immersion program, with so little background in the language. After only a few months, he was able to understand and speak in Spanish. He is a student who excels in his work and his behavior.

Q: How do you like learning Spanish at ISA?  

A: I LOVE learning Spanish at ISA.

Q: How do you like your teachers in Kindergarten?

A: I am a big fan of my teachers, Maestra Leticia and Miss Anna. Maestro Leticia is very kind and caring and spends time playing games as well as teaching fun lessons.

Q: What is your favorite thing about playing basketball?

A: I like to bounce the ball and play with his brothers.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

A: I want to be a firefighter so I can help people who are stuck in fires.

Q: Are you doing anything fun this summer?

A: I am going to summer camp and taking a family vacation.

Q: Are you planning on still learning Spanish next year or another language?

A: Yes, I will continue learning Spanish.

Roman is a kindergartener at International School of Arizona.
