Robotics Club Encourages Problem Solving and Teamwork

Imagine West Gilbert’s robotics program is in place to assist students in understanding the engineering process as well as to help students problem solve and work together to accomplish a common goal.

Q. Why did you want to be a part of the robotics club?

Albert – I wanted to be a part of the robotics club because I find it very interesting and I love computers.

Junie – I like being part of the club because it is fun and it is the way of the future.

Q. How did you make the robot?

Connor – We ordered a kit and worked as a team to build it.

Q. What is your favorite thing about your robot?

Michael – My favorite thing is that I got to build it because it entails the thought process that I use at home to build robots.

Caleb – Teamwork and having minds think alike while having fun.

Q. Tell me about the club.

Garrick – The robotics club is fun and educational. We get to know more about each other while we work on programming the robot.

Michael G., Connor W., Junie Z., Albert R., Garrick M., Caleb L. all participate in Imagine Middle School’s STEM Program.
