Q. We’ve heard that you’re very talented in the creative arts, at everything from baked treats to photography. Can you tell us a little bit more about your artistic skills?
A. I love acting, singing, and other crafty activities but tap dancing has to be my favorite. I can easily be found tapping around because I love the sound.
Q. What do you consider your greatest talent?
A. My perspective on the world helps me take unique photographs.
Q. You have designed some incredible baked treats for events, from farm animal cake pops to a sports themed baby shower cake. How did you discover your talent for pastry art?
A. Baking has always been a fun experience my mom and I have shared together.
Q. What is your proudest creation?
A. One of my favorite creations was decorating personalized gingerbread houses with lights and all.
Q. What is your favorite hobby? Why?
A. I love to travel and enjoy taking pictures everywhere I go. I’m on a mission to visit every state by the time I graduate from high school.
Q. We’ve also heard that you’re really good at Henna tattoos. Can you tell us more about that?
A. I have fun finding intricate Henna designs on line and then recreating them. Henna is a relaxing outlet for me that I enjoy doing on the weekends.
Q. How did you get started with Henna tattoos?
A. It started when I saw a YouTube video this summer. Ever since, I’ve been obsessed with it.
Q. You were also instrumental in organizing a cakewalk for the recent Fall Kick Off event at school. How did you come up with that idea?
A. I wanted to raise money for the upcoming Fashion Show. I remember always enjoying cakewalks in the past. So with the help of Pinterest, family and friends, we successfully pulled off New Ways first cakewalk.
Q. What would you like to do when you get older?
A. I know that art will follow me into my adult career, whether that means being an actor, director or teacher, time can only tell.
