New Way Academy Collects Hoodies for Homeless Teens

New Way Academy Collects over 700 hoodies for homeless youth.

During the morning school assembly on Friday, December 11, Tumbleweed received the hoodies collected for homeless youth. The boxes of clothing were collected by the students of New Way Academy over the last several weeks. (newwayacademy.org).

Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development is a Phoenix-based non-profit serving homeless, runaway and other young people in need ages 12 to 25 throughout Maricopa County.

Often homeless youth are living on the street and the hoodies provide them warm clothing as a protection from the elements. The cold weather is coming and these hoodies came just in time.
