Q. Can you tell us about your soccer team?
A. I have played with my same soccer team for the past three years. This past year we went to Regionals in California. I play left wing and sometimes right wing. I have the best soccer team that I could have asked for.

Q. What type of work do you do with Welcome to America?
A. I have volunteered at Welcome to America many times over the past few years. I have helped to “shop” for the refugee families. We pick out their bedding, kitchen supplies, home decor and any other little things that may help their transition to America a little bit nicer.

Q. What are your academic goals this year?
A. This year I am in eighth grade and I hope to make the most of my year since it is my last year at STA. I strive to never give up in any of my classes or anything that I do. I would love to get an A in Ms. Janice Junker’s Language Arts class!

Q. Can you tell us about your family?
A. I have attended STA since Kindergarten and the teachers have prepared me both academically and spiritually for the rest of my life. I feel confident that I have the groundwork to make good decisions and be the best person I can be. I have loved this school and I will never forget it!
