Mayrani Talks Boys & Girls Club

Mayrani has been a member of the Robson Branch for two years and she’s a fifth grade student at Palomino Elementary School. She enjoys many of the Club’s programs including basketball, First Tee (golf), robotics, Art Club, Torch Club and Power Hour.

Q. What’s your favorite thing about attending the Club?
A. Going in the Art Room to make projects, getting to see my friends from other schools, and going to gym for basketball practice.

Q. How has the Club helped you in other aspects of your life—school, at home, sports?
A. The Club is helping me to complete my homework, get better grades in school, and making me a better player in sports.

Q. What advice would you give to younger kids about succeeding in life?
A. Try to be a member who helps others and set a good example for other members.

Q. What are your plans for the future?
A. Study hard for college, become a veterinarian, and help my community to get better.

Q. What’s your motto?
A. “Mistakes are proof that you are trying!” “Never give up on your dreams.”
