Junior Golfer Succeeds at Brightmont Academy

Frankie has always been an avid athlete since he was very young, playing football, soccer, basketball and golf competitively. Today at 16, and a sophomore in high school, Frankie is incredibly focused on training for golf. As a junior golfer, Frankie takes 8 – 10 trips every school year competing in golf tournaments around the globe with each of these trips lasting up to a week.

With such a demanding travel and training schedule, Frankie was finding it difficult to attend a traditional school. His mother Charlynn knew they needed to find another option to support Frankie’s academic goals and also to accommodate the flexibility his schedule required.

His mother was pleased to discover Brightmont Academy – Scottsdale, a school that specializes in one-to-one instruction, where Frankie began his first semester this year.

We were looking for an academy that could provide a focused and time efficient option for Frankie, and Brightmont Academy was the ideal solution,” said Charlynn. “Due to his travel schedule, a traditional school wasn’t an ideal setting for us.”

With Frankie’s positive relationship with coaches, trainers and mentors, the one-to-one instruction was a natural fit and a model he was familiar with from his sports experience.

He really embraces the one-to-one interaction because he’s such a hands-on person, and it has enabled him to progress more quickly,” said Charlynn. “I am also pleased how quickly Frankie felt comfortable with the academic advisors at Brightmont Academy and how well he has embraced the experience and enjoyed it.”

Frankie is a sophomore at Brightmont Academy.
