Q. How long have you been in ballet?

A. I am in my third year of ballet at the School of Ballet Arizona. I take ballet classes four times a week, and the teachers there are amazing.

Q. What do you like best about it?

A. I like performing. I have been in two seasons of The Nutcracker and had a small part in the US premiere of Napoli. I like being backstage, too, and seeing what goes on behind the scenes.

Q. What else do you like to do for fun?

A. I like to build model rockets, read books, and play video games. I also like using my telescope. We recently used it to view the lunar eclipse. I like to garden, too. I just planted for fall.

Q. What are your plans for the future?

A. I’m not planning for my future yet. I have a lot of interests. I am currently in seventh grade in the REACH Program at Madison #1. I have another year at #1, before I have to think about high school.

Julius is a seventh grader at Madison #1.
