Gracie Competes at County Fair, Loves Odyssey Prep

Gracie is a wonderful scholar and a perfect representative of The Odyssey Prep and their core values. She loves music and dancing is a great all around kid.

You like to show pigs at the County Fair, tell us about that.

I’ve been showing for three years. My first year I won champion duroc. Then last year I won Grand Champion Market Hog and grand Hampshire. This year I won Reserve Champion Duroc. I have five belt buckles that I wear when I’m showing my pigs at different shows.

What other things do you compete in?

I only compete on a volleyball team. This is my third year playing club volleyball. This year I have gotten better at my jump serve and hitting. Hopefully when I get a little taller I will be a better hitter.

What do you like to do for fun?

I like to ride my long board in our neighborhood. I also like to ride my motorcycle in the lot beside our house with my sister and brother and cousins. My family likes to go to movies and we have fun just hanging out together.

What do you like best about The Odyssey Prep?

I have many friends at school. I love all my teachers they are very nice and helpful. My favorite subject is Humanities because I love learning about history. It is very interesting to me. We have learned so many things this year and done some really neat projects and events.

Is there anything else you want to tell our readers?

I am the youngest in my family of four. I am the only blond headed blue eyed person in my family. I have lots of older cousins and they always take me with them even when they are with the older kids. They are all really good to me. I have lots of aunts and uncles and grandparents that I love very much and they are all great. I have a really fun and good life.

Gracie is a fifth grader at The Odyssey Prep.
