First Grader, Emme, Enjoys Giving Back Through School Clubs

Emme is a first grader on a mission! She has a passion for organizing and bringing others together. She started her first after-school club in Kindergarten. This year, she decided to organize an after-school club focused on making items and giving them to those in need. She called her club the Making & Giving Club. She recruited thirty-one members and three adult sponsors, who happily participated in the making and giving of more than 200 blankets! These blankets were donated to three local charities: All Faith Community in Buckeye, the Jolly House Senior Care Center in Buckeye, and the New Life Center for Domestic Violence in Goodyear, Arizona. Emme is the epitome of an Odyssey scholar and we are so proud of the leadership and initiative she shows!
