Distinguished Authors Visit All Saints’ Episcopal Day School

Students at All Saints’ Episcopal Day School, one of Arizona’s top private schools, are furthering their history and language art studies with two distinguished authors visiting the central Phoenix campus on Feb. 20. Caroline Arnold, a non-fiction author of more than 150 children’s books, will be speaking to prekindergarten through grade six students about the writing process as an author and applying that to everyday classroom skills.  Hanna Zack Miley, author of A Garland for Ashes: World War II, the Holocaust, and One Jewish Survivor’s Long Journey to Forgiveness, also will speak to sixth grade students about her experience as a child on the Kindertransport, the rescue effort that saved thousands of Jewish children from the Nazi regime by granting them safe passage to England.
