Discover U Second Grader, Alex Wagner, Helps Others

Alex is a positive role model for his peers. He loves to read and spend time helping others. He is trustworthy, responsible, collaborative, cooperative, and up all, he is a sweet, kind young man.

Q: What do you think makes you a great friend and student?

A: I’m funny, and I like to learn.

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?

A: I like to watch TV, play Lego’s, ride my bike, and play with my Minecraft toys.

Q: What is the best thing about attending Discover U?

A: The people are very nice, recess is fun, and math is great.

Q: Tell us about your teacher? What makes her a great teacher?

A: Ms. Vargas gives us challenging work, lots of fun projects, and is funny.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school? Why?

A: Math, because division and multiplication are very challenging, and I like a challenge.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

A: A zookeeper, because I love learning about animals and how to take care of them (except for picking up poop!).

Q: If you had any superhero power what would it be? What good things would you do with your power?

A: Super-speed. I would race to rescue people.

Q: Do you have any plans for this summer?

A: We are moving to Honduras! I’m excited to get to live in a new country with my family for a couple years, while my parents teach at a special school.
