CREIGHTON JUNIOR AMBASSADORS VISIT CHINA for second year!

In its 29th year, the Creighton Junior Ambassadors Program has provided hundreds of students with the opportunity to travel to different countries to learn the culture, language and history. For some students this is the first time they have ever left Arizona, let alone traveled on a plane.

Last year, Creighton School District added China as one of our destination countries for the Junior Ambassadors Program. The inaugural trip sent four students and this year we are proud to announce that 14 students just returned from a life changing trip to China!

While in China students stayed with their host families and learned about the culture by participating in traditional paper folding and drawing classes, visiting schools, attending conference events, eating local food, participating in tea ceremonies, and visiting landmarks like the Great Wall of China. Our students presented on American culture, State of Arizona, and Creighton School District to a group of their peers. These cultural opportunities help to educate the whole child and provide a type of adventurous learning unique to Creighton.
