Bethany Christian School is celebrating its 20th year of Christian education! Opening its doors in 1999, it continues to be a school where students thrive in small classes taught by experienced, passionate and caring teachers. The academic program integrates a deep, sequential course of study, with integration of art, music, and physical education, while state of the art technology supports the academic program at every grade level. The result is a coherent school experience that advances the school’s mission to lead each student toward a relationship with Jesus Christ and encourage each one to reach his or her unique potential in Christ – academically, spiritually, socially, physically, and creatively. Scholarships through tax credit donations are available! Call our office today to talk to someone about how private education can be possible for you.

Lauren Hammond, Kindergarten
This is your first year at our school! What do you like about Kindergarten?
Daniel Hammond, Second Grade
What is your favorite subject?
My favorite subject is math. When I heard in Kindergarten that I was moving up to first grade math, I was like, Wow! And I just started loving math.
Elise Hammond, Fifth Grade
What was it like being a lead role in the Elementary Christmas Program?
It was really fun being involved. I was able to have fun and dress up in a costume. I love memorizing lines and I was able to share the big message of Christ being born on Christmas. I like singing and acting, and my role had both!
Ethan Hammond, Seventh Grade
You are on Bethany Christian School’s inaugural baseball team and it’s your first time playing the sport. What is that like and what are you looking forward to?
I really like baseball. It is a great team sport and it builds relationships with your friend. I think we are going to have a really good season this year. I’m looking forward to getting better for next season so I will have more experience.
“It was important to me to have my kids attend a school that had excellence in education, but also mirrored my values and beliefs about God. I attended Bethany Christian School’s Admissions Fair seven years ago, and knew this is where I wanted my kids to be. It did come with a price tag that I myself could not afford. However, there definitely is a way through the tax credit donations through many scholarship organizations. The school gave me a list with several to look into and I focused on a few that fit my needs the best and reached out to those particular places. They all have resources to help educate parents about how the tax credit works and are very helpful. It was important that I educated myself, so I could explain it to people. I asked my family and friends to reach out to those people for me that they think would be interested. I utilized personal phone calls, email, or hand deliver material depending on the person that I’m asking. Once I had a core group of people, it became pretty easy to maintain. But the thing that I rely on the most is God for Him to provide and I have faith and trust in what His plan is for me and my kids! I have been extremely blessed and fortunate to have my kids attend Bethany. Knowing that my kids are prayed for, loved, have fun, grow friendships, and deepen their relationship with God is an awesome thing!”
