Some brothers have to go all out in the summers with extravagant summer
camps and trips overseas…but these two brothers enjoy the more simpler
life with their family and friends, catching crawdads, and playing tag. Here
is what second grader and preschooler Connor and Grant had to say about
their summer of fun:
What is the best thing you did this summer? Going to Kohls Ranch on the Tonto Creek with my Mimi, Grandpa and cousins.
Do you do this every summer or is this something new? Yes, I’ve been going ever since I was a baby.
What are some things you enjoy doing inside school and outside of school? I love playing tag with my friends at school and hanging out with my cousins.
What is your favorite subject in school? Math and science.
What do you want to be when you grow up? I don’t know yet.
In three words, how would you and your friends describe you? Helpful, funny, kind.
What was your favorite part of this summer? Catching crawdads, fishing and playing with my friends.
Do you get to do the same thing next summer? Yes we love going every year. What is the best thing about your school? The snakes in the science lab.
Tell us about your teacher? What makes him/her a great teacher? I like when Mrs. McAbee reads stories to us. I think she is nice. I like when Mrs. Elias teaches us things. She is nice too. They are great teachers!
If you had one superpower what would it be? I would be able to fly.
